Overview of the Bag Boy Quad Navigator

Bag Boy Navigator Electric Cart

One of our friends actually sells these electric golf carts, and he asked us to come out and test them. Of course, we did. I’ve always used Bag Boy pushcarts, so I was curious to see if the electric models were made as well as the other models.

As expected, it was a bit tricky to set up from the box, but the instructions were clear and the whole process took about 10-15 minutes. I had a pretty good first impression. Some little things could have been improved (in my opinion), and we’ll discuss them soon.

How easy was it to use?

Setup and takedown were a lot easier than I anticipated. You can pull it out of your car and set it up in just a few seconds, just like any other pushcart. Additionally, it seemed to be quite light, and from what we could see, it was really well built (much more so than many of the others).

We tested a lot of electric carts, and this was definitely one of the easier ones. The remote has only five buttons: forward, reverse, left, right, and stop.

Performance of the Bag Boy Quad Navigator

The long battery life was what I liked about this one. Unlike some of them, this one could get 2 rounds out of a charge (which was pretty convenient). The four wheels on the cart made it incredibly stable, and I did not see any reason for it to tip over on the course (under normal conditions).

There was plenty of power and it was able to climb all the hills. All in all, it did pretty much everything I needed it to do out on the course. The cart doesn’t have some of the fancy features that more expensive carts have, but in my opinion, those features are rather pointless.

Who Needs the Bag Boy Quad Navigator?

An electric pushcart is not cheap, and I would only recommend it to someone who isn’t on a tight budget and will use it frequently.

I would probably recommend sticking to a regular pushcart if you’re a weekend golfer who only plays a few times a year (unless you’re rich).
