Review of the Stewart Golf X9 Follow Electric Cart

Stewart Golf’s new electric cart, the X9, maybe the most exciting golf cart to hit the market in a while. From its unique shape and overall design to its incredible performance and reliability, the X9 has left the competition in its wake.

Like many of the new products we’ve seen from Stewart Golf, the X9’s design and overall shape are completely unique. Even though it’s been marketed as an electric cart, its design makes it feel like a full-sized cart.

The X9 is one of the most aerodynamic golf carts we’ve seen. This is evidenced by its sleek, rounded shape and a large rear spoiler that helps to increase its speed. The result is a cart that’s also one of the easiest to maneuver.

Stewart Golf says the X9 can go up to 37 mph, but our testing has shown that the cart can go much faster. You can easily drive the X9 when doing burnouts or a round of golf with your friends.

While the X9 may be the most unique golf cart to hit the market, it’s also one of the most expensive. But if you’re looking for a cart that will definitely stand out from the crowd, the Stewart Golf X9 Follow an electric cart is a great option.

Stewart Golf X9 Follow Electric Cart: What Is It And How Does It Work?

If you want to have a bit more privacy and save some money on the golf course, this Stewart Golf X9 model may be just the thing for you.

Since I am physically incapable of carrying my own bags, it became increasingly difficult for me to justify spending money on caddies weekly. Stewart Golf’s X9 was the logical choice for me.

Price

This device requires a bit of an initial investment as the average price is about $2,900, but if you play golf regularly, it pays for itself relatively quickly. It also provides many useful features, such as hands-free operation. This mode follows you as you walk the course automatically.

It is also pretty convenient. With these hands-free modes, you don’t have to fiddle with Bluetooth connections. Simply press a button and you’re connected.

Stewart Golf X9 Follow Electric Cart: Follow Mode

The follow mode makes it very intuitive to use. It follows closely enough to not run in front of you, but not so close that it crowds or runs into you. It follows at a comfortable distance of about three feet.

As you walk, the speed is adjusted as well. When you increase your pace, it speeds up, and when you slow down, it speeds down. It also stops when you stop.

Stewart Golf X9 Follow Electric Cart: Battery

After you take it out of the box, it needs to be charged for about 4 hours. As a result, I tend to leave the cart itself in the boot of my car while I charge the battery elsewhere. I find it convenient to be able to easily detach the battery and charge it in the house or garage.

Stewart Golf X9 Follow Electric Cart: Manual Mode

When I want the cart to go up the fairway or to get to the next hole before I do, I often use the manual mode. It can also come in handy when the pathways get narrow. It is also possible to push the cart with your own two hands.

Advantages and disadvantages

Pros Cons
Has an emergency brake. Carrying it folded down can be a bit difficult.
Two-year warranty included. A heavy bag may cause it to tip over if it is run at a high speed while it is on.
It is highly intuitive to use the follow mode. Comparing the unit to other similar electric carts, it is a bit heavier (31.08 lbs).
The manual control mode is very precise. When compared with comparable carts, it is a bit pricey.
Easy to use handset/remote control.
Three colors are available.

Final Thoughts

I really like the Stewart X9 Follow Electric Cart. I would say that it is a great alternative to paying for a caddy. Despite the sticker price being a bit high, it is well worth your money if you play often.

Additionally, the automated features make it a great investment by allowing the player to do what they really want between holes, such as getting a drink or sending a text.

Stewart Golf’s X9 cart has an excellent design and is a great must-have for modern golf. Anyone looking for more convenience and a great golf investment should try out the Stewart Golf X9 Follow.
