 PowaKaddy Touch trolley Review.

I’ve used trolleys for years now and I’ve always been disappointed with the cheap trolleys you can get for that price. They just never seem to be able to handle the weight of what I have to put on them.

Then I came across PowaKaddy. I was a bit skeptical at first as I’ve never heard of them before but I decided to give the Powakaddy Touch a try. The results were surprising!

PowaKaddy is well known for its quality and their trolleys are of very high quality.

If you’re looking for well designed, durable, easy to use, and affordable trolley to buy, try the touch version of the Powakaddy trolley.

PowerKaddy Touch: Looks

Powakaddy is known for producing high-quality products, and this is no exception. We found the black, white, and yellow color scheme appealing, and it has a sleek, luxurious appearance.

It’s a premium product, you know.

PowerKaddy Touch: Performance

One of the main features of the Powakaddy Touch is its sliding handle. At first, I was pushing the trolley too hard, which caused the trolley to dart off. It took me a round to get used to the system.

Once I got the hang of it, I was gliding down the fairways without noticing I was pushing a large electric trolley and a full golf cart bag in front of me.

Regardless of the terrain or gradient, I did not have to break stride. When compared to other trolleys, it is very quiet regardless of how fast you ramp it up.

PowerKaddy Touch: Key Tech.

PowaKaddy has created a new ‘touch and go’ trolley that adjusts to the pace at which you walk. There is a two-year warranty on the trolley and a five-year warranty on the lithium battery. A USB charging port, bungee straps with anti-pinch handles, and low-profile deluxe wheels make this bag ideal for traveling.

PowerKaddy Touch: Design

The Touch has a sleek, modern design. The white frames complement the eye-catching, signature yellow trim nicely. With low-profile wheels and a rear diffuser, the cutting-edge look is completed with a stylish, ambidextrous handle.

PowerKaddy Touch: Battery

With the PowaKaddy Plug ‘N’ Play lithium battery, you no longer need fiddly loose cables that are untidy and can take time to connect. It weighs just 2kg, making it extremely lightweight and compact. After 18 holes of a relatively flat course, you will still have more than half of a full charge left over. If you frequently play 36 holes in a day on undulating terrain, the lithium extended battery will be worth upgrading.

PowerKaddy Touch: Chassis and Frame

Even with the battery connected, the heavy-duty chassis is made of a strong, lightweight engineering polymer, so it is easy to lift in and out of your car. Due to its three-way folding mechanism, it is quick and easy to assemble and fold down on the first try.

PowerKaddy Touch: Operation

Whenever the control unit is turned on, a circular red LED will illuminate on the display. Once you start walking, gently push the handle and the console will slide in and the light will change to green. With each inward push of the handle, the trolley will move faster, matching your walking speed. In unison, the control unit and trolley slow down when you slow down. All you have to do is hold the handle and stop walking.

PowerKaddy Touch: Steering

By twisting the direction with your hands, it works just like an electric trolley. While stationary, remember to put the trolley in standby mode using the button to eliminate the fear of bumping the handle and setting it off inadvertently.

PowaKaddy Touch: Features

The trolley features a touch control method, as well as a USB port for charging your smartphone or GPS device. Accessories like a GPS cradle and umbrella holder can be attached to the frame (sold separately). PowaKaddy’s cart bags are secured with key locks to prevent unwanted movement while stand bags from any brand are held securely with elasticated straps.

PowaKaddy Touch: Ease of use

Getting started with this trolley is simple once you arrive at the parking lot. It takes some time to adjust to the control system and how it differs from a traditional electric trolley, which will resume at the speed it was set to previously. But once you learn to be gentle when resuming walking after playing a shot, you’ll have no problems. After you’ve found your ideal walking pace, you can let go of your hand and it will continue at that pace.

PowaKaddy Touch: Control

It is just as easy to maneuver as a conventional electric trolley thanks to its ambidextrous handle. When going down hills, the movement can be a little jolty as the trolley adapts to your new step pattern, but as long as you don’t pull or push the control unit too hard, you shouldn’t be inconvenienced.

Pros Cons
Golfers will prefer this trolley over a conventional electric trolley once they learn how to handle the handle. It can be difficult to control the speed initially, especially when climbing or descending mountains.
They’re easy to put together and use.
Touch trolleys are easy to maneuver on relatively flat terrain.

PowaKaddy Touch: Final verdict

The Powakaddy Touch performs like a premium electric trolley with the added feature of a moving handle that affects the trolley’s speed. It is easy to use and works well, so you can change the speed without having to manually change it.

It is easy to assemble and collapse and comes with a lot of additional features. While you pay a premium price, you get a premium product for your money.
