The black version is wonderful-the details are all tone-on-tone, creating a subtle, almost “mean” look. It’s great. Having said that, I found the black version a little bit too compact behind the ball, so I reverted to the tried and trusted Tour Chrome version.

There is no doubt that the new grooves have a huge impact on this, but for all shots inside 100 yards, especially delicate chips, the feel and spin control can have a significant impact on your scoring potential.
