Pinemeadow Golf Men’s PGX Putter Review

Last Updated on December 1, 2023 by Daniel

The Pinemeadow Golf men’s PGX putter has been a PGA-approved putter since 1997. I’ve been testing the Pinemeadow PGX since it came out and it’s been a great putter. It’s one of the best putters on the market, and I’ve been impressed with how stable it is, even at high speeds. This is a great putter for anyone who wants a high-performance putter with a great feel.

We all know the putter is a very important part of your game. I’ve been playing with a variety of putters over the years, and while I’ve played with some very good putters, there are a few that I’ve liked more.

This year, I’ve been playing with the Pinemeadow Golf PGX, and I’m very happy with it. I’ve been putting with it for almost a year now, and I like how it’s putt.

What’s it like to play with a Pinemeadow Golf Men’s PGX Putter?

When I first picked up my Pinemeadow PGX, it was like hitting a ball with a putter for the first time. I didn’t know what to expect. I wasn’t sure how it would feel. I was a little bit worried that it would be too light and not have enough feel, but it’s been a great putter.

I like how stable it is, and I like how much power it delivers. It’s been a great putter for me.

This is the first putter I’ve owned that I’ve used from the back of the putter to the ball. It’s a putter that puts the ball a long way, and it feels like it.

It feels like a putter that you can putt a lot of strokes with. If you’re a lefty, I’d say this is a very good putter for you.

Pinemeadow Golf Men’s PGX Putter: Features and Design

Pinemeadow Golf Men’s PGX Putter Review

  • Tour-Weighted: With a total weight of 380g, the clubhead on the putter is 40g heavier than a standard one. Tour weighting allows it to be used in fast-paced putting surfaces, which are becoming more popular on courses around the world.
  • Alignment Aids: The contrast between the white finish and the green makes alignment easy. Golfers will find it easy to line up the putter with the ball because of three alignment lines on it.
  • Length: The shaft measures 34 inches, so golfers up to 6’3 ft tall can also use it effectively. Despite the fact that some golfers may not see this length as significant, maintaining the proper posture is crucial.
  • Appearance: When the putter is at its address position, the PGX’s sleek and precise white finish makes it stand out.
  • Headcover: The mallet putter comes with a customizable headcover.

Advantages

  • It is easier to keep the focus on the alignment lines due to the contrast between the white head and the green grass.
  • Additionally, this mallet putter has a ball picker to facilitate play and speed up play.
  • The 34-inch length is perfect for both professionals and amateurs alike.
  • This putter is well-balanced and easy to swing.
  • With its sleek white finish, this putter is one of the most visually appealing on the market.
  • Due to its extra weight, it is perfect for faster greens.
  • It comes with a customized headcover.

Drawbacks

  • It may be too heavy for beginners and players who are used to lightweight putters.
  • Its white head indicates that it will stain easily.
  • After a few uses, the white paint on the toe starts peeling off.

Final thoughts

When it comes to putters, Pinemeadow might not have the most famous name, but its products are just as good as those made by the top brands. The company designed the Men’s PGX mallet-style putter to handle fast-paced greens. Besides being a lovely club with its sleek white finish, the look is enough to make a significant percentage of golfers want to use it.

Its weight distribution is ideal, making it easy to swing, but it may still feel too heavy for beginners or those used to lightweight putters.  Although it is a top-notch golf club, its weight and some other cons, such as the white finish being prone to staining, will not take anything away from the fact that it is a top-notch club. Consequently, this sleek and high-performing mallet putter by Pinemeadow is an excellent choice for anyone looking for the best mallet putter.
